IMDB advertising(2nd year)

IMDB has huge infos other than any other sites

so the idea was to have a box, which was representing the

capacity of the network and blow it up.


























































these 3 campaigns are more funnier way than the box one

first website I made

when I was in a 2nd year website class, I made a

cologne website which shows a few colognes.

Each pages describe how the colognes look and

layers about the colognes.























index page and if you rollover 'colognes' it will

show various colognes.



























































































and once you click, short descriptions about

cologne will appear.

My idea was to take rotten fruit to show

'you can never go back' feeling.


an apple is a symbol of freshness and clean and delicious.

that's why the first human, Adam ate it at the first time.. anyway,

once it's rotten, you can do nothing about it. you have to throw it away.


It is like a war. When war happens, everything goes down.

you cannot revive everything that are destroyed by the war.

you have to trash things that are not recreatable.

So, don't even start the war.

typeface hw

so my task was to hand-drown a name based on the picture









































































first, I took a look at the typeface from the picture and

tried to follow the typeface's characteristics.

For example, the body of the typeface, how types connects to

each other, how wide is the alpabet's inside circle part.. and stuff.


I sketched using the name DON DRAPER.

I scaned it, imported to illustrator and started to make outlines.

The typeface also had shadows behind the type so I had to create it all.


as you can see, my sketches are bad because i wasn't focusing on

spacing or curring or lettering (I think I misspell it)

so I had to adjustment all that to look good. Especially the curves that

connect each letters took me longer than I expected.

2nd potfolio mini graphic book

I made a little book, 5 x 7 inches.
Name of the book is called 'what is graphic design?'
Graphic design is all over the place and it is hard to
summerize in one sentence.

My concept is to show graphic visuals, instead of talking with words.

2nd potfolio (first one)

The concept of this book is secret.
That is why the book case box has a silhouette of a lock and a key.
The potfolio book is locked with a locker and you can open it
with the key that is in the box.

I made a few background concept.

I did a project for car design.
I wanted to make a car design that is totally safe, so nobody
will die because of car accident.
